The Cornhole Origin is an awesome new sport that has grown out of the original console games played by the men and women of the UK back in the 70’s. Now, these bags of bean bags have moved on to North America, Australia and Europe. The game has been modified slightly for the different countries but basically it is still the same great game that we all know and love. While there were several different names for the game of cornhole, the one that sticks in most people’s minds is the “bean toss”. This is where you toss a bean into the hole that is dug. The person who throws their bag the farthest wins the game. If more than one person throws their bag in at the same time, the first team to reach twenty-one points wins. There are also other rules that you need to follow, including how many teams need to play in order for the tournament to continue. In many cases, there are certain teams playing for specific prizes or being placed in certain brackets based upon the final results of the tournament.
You will find that there are several places that have a version of the console that can be played as well. In fact, this game is so popular that there are even cornhole tournaments being held in both Cincinnati and Ohio. You don’t have to travel far from home to enjoy this fun new sport!
