In my travels I have discovered that there is a near universal approval of the bean bag toss. If you ask random people on the street to describe what they think bean bag toss is they will most likely say it is something akin to a game of croquet. This is certainly true, the bean bag toss is in many ways similar to croquet but is fundamentally a different game. The truth of the matter however, is that the bean bag toss has been adopted as a sport by Americans for much longer than anyone might suspect and the corporation that brings it to WalMart is taking advantage of this fact. For nearly 20 years WalMart has been working hard to expand their selection of goods available in their stores and one of the products that they have adopted as part of their strategy is the bean bag toss.

The bean bag toss is a fun game for a wide variety of people and it can even serve as an ice breaker for companies that are new to the industry. It is a simple game to learn and to play but it is just as fun to watch others play the game and to be engaged in conversation with them about the game. WalMart has a very dedicated location for the tossing of the bean bags and they have taken great care to make sure that it is set up so that everyone will have a good time. Even the bags that are used for the games at the store are in good condition. While the bag toss game might not appeal to everyone the overall atmosphere is one that will leave most people with a very positive impression of WalMart.

There is a specific rules for the game offered at the WalMart Corporate headquarters but you really do not need to know these rules to enjoy it. In fact, it would probably benefit you to have a friend or family member with some experience with the game bring you a hand out once you get a chance. The bags are distributed to the participants once everyone has been seated and there are generally around six or eight people at a time playing. There is a board on the upper left corner that displays the scores when the bag toss game is being played and it changes as the game goes on. It is a great way to spend a little time at the corporate offices while you are waiting for your free bags.
