The Inner Liner of a Bean Bag
The inner liner of a bean bag prevents the filling from spilling out. Although the fillers in bean bags can be sharp, a liner prevents this sensation. It also protects the filling from being damaged by insects, which can cause damage to the natural filler. Insects can get inside the bag if the cover isn’t tightly sealed. In order to prevent this from happening, you should use a liner inside your beanbag.
A good inner liner is made of strong fabric and is often inserted into the beanbag’s cover by means of a zipper. A longer zipper allows the liner to be easily inserted into the beanbag cover. However, some manufacturers install a standard-length zipper, making it difficult to insert the filled inner liner. To avoid this, check the length of the outer cover zipper before filling your beanbag with beads.
Using a liner will also keep the beanbag’s shape. Without an inner liner, the fillings may get soiled or even soaked in liquid. The liner also prevents the beans from spilling. This is particularly useful if your child or pet will be using the beanbag. If you do not want your child or pet to have a beanbag filled with pee, consider getting an inner lining.
