How to Measure Cornhole Leg Dimensions
When measuring the length of cornhole leg dimensions, double check the measurements of the board and legs. To ensure proper height, the raised end should be a minimum of 12 inches off the ground. The legs can be rounded off at any time during construction. For a perfect fit, use the measurements provided by your table and a compass to measure the length of a single cornhole board. After measuring the leg length, you should take it to a mitre saw and cut the ends flush with the table.
Measure the length of a cornhole board so that it is at least three and a half inches from the surface of the table. You should also check the thickness of the legs and make sure they are even and flat. For a perfect fit, you can cut two 2x4s to 16 1/8 inches in length. After that, measure the total length of each board, then take a measuring tape and mark the position of the top corner. Once the leg is level, measure again. If the legs are not square, you should place blocks under the legs to raise them 12 inches off the table.
Once you’ve measured the length and width of the legs, you can proceed with the rest of the construction. Make sure the legs are cut to the correct size, as well as the correct height, so they’re flush with the surface of the table. Lastly, you should measure the distance between the legs so that the legs are parallel to each other. To do this, you need to measure the length of the tableboard itself, so you can see if the corners are overlapping.
