In the game of cornhole, there is a lot of slang to know. This article will go over a few of the more common terms used in cornhole.
Drain O – When a bag is tossed and it goes into the hole, this earns the player 3 points.
Faultn’ – When a player steps in front of the throw line or the cornhole board, this is considered a fault.
Fling – Some players like to “fling” their bags by holding the corner of the bag between their thumb and index finger, then flicking it with their wrist. Generally, this results in the bag landing anywhere but the cornhole board (unless you’re a pro).
Candy Corn / Weak Sauce – When a player’s bag hits the ground before it reaches the board and stays there. No points are awarded for this toss.
Woody – Similar to an Ace, a woody is achieved when a bag lands on the board and doesn’t make it in the hole, earning the player 1 point.
Rim Job – A bag will look as if it’s about to go in, but then it hits the side or lip of the hole and falls out onto the ground. This is also referred to as a skunk or a shutout.
Push Bag – When one thrown bag pushes or pulls two or more other bags already on the board into the hole.
